DELCOTEX develops, optimises and produces technical textiles for different branches and according to international standards. We are producing innovative textiles for the European market with 150 employees at our production site in Bielefeld. DELCOTEX has grown to a market leader in Europe because of the following reasons: large machinery and laying machines with best available technology and consequent customizing of development, technology and organisation as well as our principles like adherence to delivery dates and economic efficiency.
We are always developing and want to become bigger continuously. To create more space for machines and the storage of finished fabrics we have built a new hall in 2022. Here is a time-lapse of the hall construction.
History
From linen to the hightech textile
In 1722 Johann Caspar Delius founded a linen trading house and laid the foundation for the company of today. In the 19th century the family Delius established a machine weaving mill following english examples, which has been adapted to most modern standards within the following years. Despite all economical difficulties through the years, the company is still family owned for almost three hundreds of years now. DELCOTEX is responsible for the development and production of technical textiles.

Our responsibility
DELCOTEX considers in its production process economic, ecological and social aspects. The quality management is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Therefore all yarns, loomstate fabrics and finished fabrics are subject to the constant control of the accredited D-LAB (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005). The Energy Management System according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 provides the basis for a responsible handling of our resources; this applies to research and development, production and sales.
